From Bruce Bacari on B tournament:
Cliff made an amazing comeback.  He lost early but still managed to achieve third place.  The wild card in the tournament was Rich Henry.  He came in late for the tournament but almost finished in the money.  What kept him out of third place was his draw with Van Wooley.

I feel bad to have dropped Jackie and Joe from the results.  They are two very nice people but dropping them was the only fair way to bring the tournament to a close.  I hope they will still come to the dinner.

Only a few games played in the B tournament. Next week should be a lot
From Will Atkinson on the A tournament
Hello.  Brunke-1-0 over Mendenhall.  Late a section game.  To the group: an exciting a section night and one more to come.  Neal is done 2.5/6.0.all others have played 5 games.  Atkinson 4.5 / Jackson 3.5 / Mendenhall 3.0 / Brunke 2.5 / Flanagan 2.0 / Jay 0.0.  Jay and Brunke also Neal are playing for fun now but their games are important to others.  Atkinson has clinched a tie for first/co-champion.  Jackson can catch him if he wins and Atkinson loses to Jay.  We better add an upset prize in that case.  Last pairings:  Neal has a bye.  /  Jay-Atkinson  /  Jackson-Mendenhall  /  Flanagan-Brunke.  If Mendenhall wins, he gets second and Flanagan the class prize.  A draw:  Jackson 2nd., Mendenhall class.  Jackson wins second or co-champion, Mendenhall class but if Flanagan wins they get $15 each.  This is easy for me to understand after over 50yrs in tournaments.   Bill Mendenhall could be in my position or even 5.0/5.0 if he played whole games as well as the early part.  He had me beat in game 1 but my good endgame play and his mediocre let me save the draw.  It woke me up I think.  My 4 games since went very well.   O.k.  But we are glad to have him in the tournament again.  He played in1966- 1967 and not since.

Pat Holland vs Jackie Brown
Bill Killinger vs Van Wooley ****
Bruce Bucari vs Bill Killinger
Bill Penjuke vs Joe Brank
Charles Murter vs Bill Killinger ****
Bill Trucksess vs Cliff Koehler, Bill Penjuke, Bill Killinger

**** Bill Killinger has  chance to over take Van Wooley if Bill wins all his games (8) and Van drops two of his remaining 8 games.  It looks like the match between Van and Bill will decide the winner of the B tournament!  Cliff can be the spoiler for both!!  And Charles Murter can give Bill a tough time.
Oct 2, 2019
From Will Atkinson on A tournament:
  • Hello.  For the group: exact 3-way tie:  Mendenhall, Jackson, Atkinson 2.5/3.0.  Three weeks left and many interesting games ahead.  Brunke and Neal are .500 but may contend for second place at least.
  • I thought this is a good time to explain place/class prize combinations.as we stand.  If this was final 3 players,3 prizes, $ 40 each., case closed. No other prizes. However, if Mendenhall was clear first or clear second or in a 2-way tie for first he gets place money only.  The class prize goes to a lower score person. on the other hand, a 3-way tie for 2nd.gives Mendenhall $30 class and the other 2 $20 each.  Mendenhall can't get less than his class prize.   It is likely such an occurrence will happen.  Good luck Bill M.  So far so good but 3 tough opponents to go.
  • I realize that 2 of us normally don't record their games.  I made it a rule for your benefit and mine.  Too many things can happen where a scoresheet is needed.  You can stop recording when either player reaches 5 minutes left.  No problems with this please. W.J.A.

Sept 24, 2019
  • Ken Hennessey returned to the club last night after a long absense. Welcome back!  He was a full time member from 1999 to 2005 and won several championships
  • From Will Atkinson:
    • Group pairings for 9/30/19:
      • Mendenhall bye
      • Jackson Brunke
      • Atkinson-Neal
      • Jay-Flanagan.
    • Frank Jackson leads in % and the important loss column at 2-0.  Bill Mendenhall at 2.5-0.5 leads in the win column. Will Atkinson and Richard Neal are still in contention.  Bill Mendenhall has a big lead for the class prize and should clinch early.  He may get a place prize instead.one prize per person Things are going well.  The A group is easy to direct. Thank you all.
Sept 5, 2019
From Will Atkinson:  The following are the first round pairings (white-black) for the A tournament:
  • Mendenhall-Atkinson
  • Flanagan-Jackson
  • Distillo-Brunke

  • Some tournament rules 110/d10.no other time controls to start.   No adjornments.an obvious emergency can be an exception per agreement.   Starting time 7:00 p.m. Late arrivals can be subject to a time penalty. Also a game starting after 7:45 p.m. must have a time deduction of some kind. We must be gone by midnight from the building.  Not coming at all with no notice is subject to forfeit or time penalty up to an hour.    The meeting before the dinner is the last night. T.D. will decide forfeits on unplayed games. Double forfeits are possible.    No analog clocks. The time delay is important. we have adequate digital clocks. Borrow if you must.      You must keep score until one player reaches 5:00 left. i recommend you do it until you reach 5:00.  Things happen where a scoresheet is needed.    2 players last year took a break when the food came in. On agreement we can do that but keep your total time in mind.12 midnight.  1 game playoff by agreement and time is left before the dinner.  Postponements o.k. Try to tell your opponent before he comes to the club.   You are expected to come at least 80%.    O.k. more later.  W.J.A

  • Important news for our club from Bill Atkinson:  Last night 4/7/19 I (Bill) confirmed from Jim Curtiss' nextdoor neighbor that he passed to eternity about 2 yrs.ago.  His wife moved to relatives.  I wrote of his club activities previously.  Bob benditt and I knew him the most years although Mendenhall, Brunke, and Holland were there 52 yrs ago when he came.  Personally I had 15-20 christmas dinners at his home, 2 ballgames, one cable TV.night.      The club has been at member's funerals: Vic Marler/Angello Contoris/Richard Russell/Richard Oliver/Dan New/Bill Shoemaker. This time,no.  Maybe the family arranged it that way. Still if someone hears such news, please tell us. In weekend tournaments we mostly play strangers or acquaintences. Tri-state after almost 60yrs. should be better then that.  OK, it may be a mistake. Better that then this situation.    Farewell jim curtiss, we'll see you soon.

ANNUAL BANQUET 12/10/18

INFORMATION FROM FRANK JACKSON ON THE BANQUET:
2018 Banquet

The following remarks are from Will Atkinson - - -

A SECTION UPDATE

THIS WON'T  PLEASE ALL BUT I DO INTEND TO HAVE AN A+ SECTION IN 2019.THE TOP 6 ACCEPTING AND ACCEPTABLE PLAYERS WILL PLAY TWICE AROUND 10 GAMES.LADDER RANK IS ONE CONSIDERATION BUT ALSO IS ATTENDENCE. IT'S NOT FOR THOSE WHO PAID LITTLE DUES. ALSO A PROBLEM THIS YEAR CAN DISQUALIFY YOU.   I AM SURE THOSE WHO DON'T MAKE IT WILL HAVE AN OPTION IN THE B OR EVEN A THIRD A- SECTION.       NO CHANGE THIS WEEK.THE DINNER IS THE END.AS THINGS STAND I WOULD GIVE THE WIN TO JACKSON .HE'D HAVE HIS TIE AND $30 BUT WOULD LOSE ON TIEBREAK AS HE'D GET NONE FOR THE FORFEIT.NEAL WOULD HAVE NO HOPE FOR THE PREMIER SECTION.NOBODY WANTS THAT. NEAL CLEARLY HAS HIT A PROBLEM ON MONDAY NIGHTS. WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE GAME BUT IT IS MORE IMPORTANT IT BE PLAYED. BOTH PARTIES ARE VERY LOCAL AND HAVE CARS.PLAY ELSEWHERE. DON'T LET THIS GO MUCH LONGER.   W.J.A.

More- - - THE FINAL A GAME IS FIRMLY SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY. IF NEAL WINS/DRAWS BRUNKE AND I ARE CO-CHAMPIONS,$45 PRIZE EACH. IF JACKSON WINS WE HAVE THE UNLIKELY 3-WAY TIE FOR FIRST AND SECOND.$30 PRIZE EACH. I WILL ANNOUNCE THE TIEBREAK RESULT AT THE DINNER. NO HINTS WILL BE GIVEN SO DO NOT ASK PLEASE.  I WANT TO THANK ALL FOR CO-OPERATION.THE NOISE PROBLEM WAS NOT FROM A PLAYERS.THE ONE FORFEIT WAS UNFORTUNATE BUT NEAL DIDN'T REALIZE THE POSSABLE CONSEQUENCES. WE HAVEN'T HAD A TIEBREAK SITUATION IN MANY YEARS.  SOME GAMES WERE PLAYED AHEAD OR MADE UP AND ONLY ONE GAME WAS LEFT AT SCHEDULE END.THE BYE HELPED US ON THIS AS I KNEW IT WOULD.   LET'S LOOK FORWARD TO MONDAY AND ALSO THE PREMIER SECTION OF 2019.KEEP YOUR LADDER RATING AND ATTENDENCE UP.     W.J.A

From Bob Flanagan- - -

The chess ladder has been updated for Monday's games.

Nov 14, 2018:  The chess ladder has been updated for Nov 12th matches

We had a fair number of matches.  Some games seemed to go real quickly.   When you play, longer clock settings with a longer delay, like 30 minutes and 10 seconds or 45 minutes 10 seconds will allow you much more think time and improve your chess.  I see many games being lost because players are not studying the board to see what their opponent did, and what they will do.

Bob played Will Atkinson in a 2 1/2 hour battle that ended in a draw.  Both players had chances for a win.

Wolfgang finally figured out how to win against Bruce!  Unfortunately, it looks like Paul Shields has Wolfgang's number now :).

Rich Henry had a really bad day :(.  He lost all six of his matches, dropping 130 points and down four in the ratings. Hmmmm. Longer clock times next time?

Bill Mendenhall is back from his back surgery.  Bill Killinger took advance of his absence from chess with a victory. But Bill M. then got revenge with two wins over Pat Holland.

WE WILL MEET WED.DEC.26TH. AND WED. JAN.2ND. FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND THEN RESUME MONDAYS

Nov 11, 2018 Newsletter from Will Saxe
Tournament Almost Done.
The tournament is winding down for another year. The B-Section is complete and the winners are listed below. The A-Section is close to completion- but even at this late date final winners could change. We will have at least two co-champions, and possibly a three way tie for first. This shows how close are club championship is. Will Atkinson and Wolfgang Brunke were the winners, but wait if Frank Jackson wins his remaining game it will be a 3-WAY Tie.

Remarks from Will Atkinson-

A VERY INTRESTING NIGHT HAS PASSED. WOLFGANG AND I WERE THE WINNERS AND TIED FOR FIRST 6.5/8.0   FRANK JACKSON AT 5.5/7.0 MUST WIN A MAKE-UP GAME TO MAKE IT A TRIPLE TIE.WOW!  I DO KNOW ALREADY WHERE THAT WILL GO BUT IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE DINNER.I WON'T TELL MY SHADOW UNTIL THEN AS OUR 20TH.CENTURY PRESIDENT ANGELLO USED TO SAY.NO PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR EVEN FOR 2 OF US. I DON'T BELIEVE IN THEM.       FRANK JACKSON AND I HAD A VERY INTRESTING B ENDING FEATURING AN OUTSIDE PASSED PAWN AND PAWNS ON THE SAME COLOR AS THE  B'S SQUARES.NOT A GOOD IDEA.IT WAS A LONG ENDING AND ONE ERROR WOULD HAVE ENDED MY CHANCES BUT AS MANY TIMES BEFORE I DID SLOWLY WIN.BORIS BACINSKI CALLED ME "THE ENDGAME EXPERT".      WE ALSO AT LAST HAD A PROBLEM.NEAL DIDN'T COME AT ALL AND WORSE SAID HE WOULD COME AT 8:00 P.M. EITHER HE OR VAN WOLLEY COULD HAVE HAD A POSTPOMENT AT 7:00P. M.VAN CHOSE TO WAIT UNTIL8:15 AND THEN CLAIM THE WIN. REASONABLE BUT AVOIDABLE.   THIS IS AN IMPATIENT WORLD.THINGS CAN WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK.WE HAVE 4 MORE MEETINGS UNTIL THE DINNER.  HAPPILY NEITHER PLAYER WAS IN CONTENTION FOR MONEY.NEAL'S LONG SHOT ENDED WHEN BRUNKE AND I WON.IF TIE BREAK COMES INTO FIRST IT WILL BE IMPORTANT BUT LUCKILY THE WORST WON'T HAPPEN.    PLEASE LET'S DO BETTER IN THIS NEXT YEAR,    W.J.A.[+]

SOME CHESS PHILOSOPHY

WHAT IS CHESS? I WON'T DIGNIFY THE IDEA SOME LOW PLAYERS HAVE WITH PRINT.  CONTINTENTAL CHESS CALLS IT A SPORT.IS IT LESS SO BECAUSE VERY FEW CAN MAKE A REASONABLE LIVING FROM IT?   TO ME IT IS FIRST AN ART FORM.2 PLAYERS CREATE SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T EXIST BEFORE.IT MAY BE VERY BEAUTIFUL, WORTH SHOWING OTHERS.     THIS IS WHY WE SHOULD KEEP SCORE, CERTAINLY IN TOURNAMENT GAMES. ORIGIANALLY, VERY LONG AGO, OUR CLUB TOURNAMENTS WERE 50/2,25/1.  HOW DIFFERENT FROM THE B SECTION TODAY.NO WONDER YEAR AFTER YEAR PASSES AND SOME B PLAYERS NEVER IMPROVE. CHESS GIVES YOU WHAT YOU GIVE IT.IT'S FAR FROM A SILLY GAME.    W.J.A.[+]

AT THE BEGINNING: OUR CLUB HAD IT'S START IN 1960.HARVEY RITTER GOT IT GOING AT DEVEREAUX BARBERSHOP. HE WORKED FOR JIM DEVEREAUX.ED FINN WAS THERE, I CAME 4/23/1962 AGE 13. THE CLUB WAS VERY WEAK THE

FIRST 2 YRS.HARVEY SAID.NO TOURNAMENT OR DINNER IN THOSE DAYS.THE CLUB ENTERED THE INDUSTRIAL LEAGUE.IT WAS HARD TO WIN A GAME LET ALONE A MATCH.5-0 TIME AFTER TIME.HARVEY CAUGHT ON THAT BOOK LEARNING WAS NEEDED TOO, NOT JUST PLAY.A LESSON EVEN FOR TODAY.  ALSO, A USCF B PLAYER CAME BUT SOON LEFT."A BUNCH OF BEGINNERS, NOT WORTH MY TIME" HE SAID. DUES:$6 A YEAR OR 0.25CENTS A NIGHT 24X MAX.YES IT'S TRUE!   I WAS VERY INEXPIERIENCED BUT HAD TALENT AND I LEARNED FAST.I WAS HITTING THE CHESS BOOKS.3 ONLY COULD BEAT ME. FRANK CAMMERATTA HAD BECOME OUR STAR PLAYER.HE DIDN'T COME MUCH EXCEPT MATCHES.HEWAS CLOSE TO EXPERT U.S.C.F.  1962-1963 CHESTER PIKE CHESS CLUB WOKE UP.8-0-2 WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP.PERSONALLY I WAS 3-1-2 IN ACTUAL GAMES PLAYED.3 MATCHES WERE FORFEITED AND THE PRISION SENT ME HOME THE FIRST TIME.TOO YOUNG THEY SAID.HARVEY GOT THT STRAIGHT.MY PARENT WOULDN'T LET ME GO TO THE DINNER EITHER.NO MAN AT MY HOME TO CONVINCE HER.   THERE WAS A TRASH CAN FIRE AND WE HAD TO GO TO CONTINENTAL BANK FOR 1963-1964.THE KEY PERSON LEFT US OUT ON THE STREET A COUPLE TIMES.THE PRISON BEAT US 3-2 AND WENT ON TO WIN.   WE HAD OUR FIRST ATTEMPT AT A TOURNAMENT IN SUMMER 1963.I WAS JUST TURNING 15. I DID GREAT,7-1 ACTUAL GAMES PLAYED.HARVEY PLAYED FEWER BUT WON AS HE HAD A PERFECT SCORE.INTREST HAD FADED AND THE PRIZE WAS NEVER GIVEN OUT.   INTEREST FADED FOR THE CLUB TOO. MAY 1964 NO MORE MEETINGS.I WAS THERE 2 OF THE FINAL NIGHTS WITH MORGAN RHODES AND PAUL MURTER[CHARLIE'S FATHER].  NO MORE UNTIL MAY 1965 AT THE NEW BARBER SHOP.SOME PLAYED AT THEIR HOMES.  ONE MORE ITEM: THE LADDER WAS PHYSICAL.NO RATINGS.YOU WON 1.5/2.0 GAMES YOU MOVED UP.       THE STONE AGE FOR SURE BUT IT HAPPENED IN MY VERY LONG AGO SCHOOL DAYS.AMEN.    W.J.A.[+]

Remarks from William Atkinson

ANOTHER RULE CAME UP ON THIS:SPECTATORS ARE TO WATCH ONLY.THEY CAN TELL ME SOMETHING PRIVATLY IF THEY WISH.IN THIS CASE AS IT WAS MY GAME THE RIGHT TIME WAS POST-GAME.LUCKILY THIS WAS TOO SMALL TO AFFECT THE PLAY.YOU RUN A RISKY ROAD COMMENTING TO THE PLAYERS ABOUT THEIR GAMES IN PROGRESS.I DON'T WANT TO PENALIZE ANYONE.

A TECHNICAL POINT CAME UP LAST WEEK IN MY GAME.IT SEEMS WHEN QUEEING A PAWN THE PAWN SHOULD GO TO THE 8TH.RANK.I MOST OFTEN PUT THE PIECE ON THE BOARD AND TOOK THE P  OFF.

NO ONE MINDED THAT PRACTICE BUT I WILL DO IT THE OTHER WAY NOW.

HELLO.FOR NEXT NEWSLETTER:THANKS TO JACKELYN BROWN AND WILL SAXE FOR COFEE AND DOUNETS EVEN THOUGH J,B, DIDN'T COME.SHE IS OUR STAR MEMBER IN GENEROSITY IN 59 YRS.MONEYWISE IN MY OPINION.I SAW IT ALL BUT 1960-4/1962.      ONCE AGAIN I TELL YOU YOU MUST KEEP SCORE.IT'S A USCF RULE AND I PUT IT IN OUR TOURNAMENT.YOU CAN'T AGREE FOR ONE OR BOTH OF YOU NOT TO.CLAIMS LIKE REPETITION OF MOVES 3X OR THE 50 MOVE RULE NEED A SCORE SHEET.WHAT IF YOUR OPPONENT MAKES 2 MOVES IN A ROW?   YOU CAN STOP IF YOU HAVE 5 MIN.LEFT.ALSO I'D ADVISE AGAINST IT BUT IF YOUR OPPONENT HAS LESS THEN 5 MIN,LEFT.O.K?.I DON'T WANT TO BE AN OGRE BUT IT'S FOR THE GENERAL GOOD AND YOURS TOO.   IT WAS QUIET ENOUGH THIS WEEK.THANK YOU ALL.    ALSO THIS IS OBVIOUS BUT WE CAN'T HAVE JUST ANYONE THERE AT THE END.IF THE LAST RESPONSABLE PERSON WISHES TO LEAVE IT'S CLOSE-UP TIME.10:30,1000,EVEN EARLIER.LOCK-UP IS EASY TO LEARN.AS FAR AS I KNOW THIS HAS NOT BEN A PROBLEM RECENTLY BUT I STATE THE POSSABLITY.   W.J.A.[+[:

Please be considerate of others during our tournament. The noise level last week was better than the week before so let's try to keep it that way.

July 23rd
  • It is the middle of summer and we are down to seven meetings before our annual tournament. The ladder is frozen as our rating statistician is vacationing in the wilds of Alaska. Continue to fill out the ladder sheets and he will bring it up to date when he returns.
  • Note from Will Atkinson:
I intend to bring in the tournament rules next week.I'll make a few or even 5 copies.  People can borrow one and make their own if they wish.   I will try and cover all possable situations. We were fine in 2017. Late additions worked out but that I won't repeat.  The main changes are no late joins, and if you wish to play in the A Section you must keep score. That rule is in effect again. Only the last 5 min.is o.k. not to record.

The next meeting of the club will be on monday  january 28. Plan to come and bring a friend.

I believe we have one or two new members. I forgot to get email addresses from them so will try to do it this week.

We still did not get any one to run a lottery. People seems to like having one but so far no one wants to run it. Sell tickets, collect the money, have someone draw the winner, and give out the prize. This does not necessairly need to be done every week.

Any information that could be placed in the newsletter wou;d be welcomed.  Please send any suggestions, information, etc. to Will Saxe at niterook@hotmail.com

We finally have complete results for the B-Section.  Congratulations to Rich Henry and Charles Murter have tied for first.  They will split the first and second class prizes and they will get $45 each. Also congratulations to Bill Killinger and Charles Murter. They tied for third place and with split the prize each getting $10.00.  To explain how this all came about I will enclose the explanation of dircetor Bruce Buccari ...
1. The game in round one between Rich Henry and Sean Duffy will default to Rich Henry giving him 6 wins.
2. The game in round two between Sean Duffy and Bill Killinger and the game in round six between Jackie and Bill Killinger will both default to Bill Killinger giving him 5 wins.
3. The game in round six between Charles Murter and Sean Duffy will default to Charles Murter giving him 6 wins.  This will result in both Rich Henry and Charles Murter having 6 wins and ed for first place. They will therefore share first and second place prize money. First place was $50.00 and second place was $40.00. They will each get $45.00. This will also result in both Pat Holland and Bill Killinger having 5 wins and ed for third place. Third place was to be $20.00. They will each get $10.00.
The B Secon Tournament is now finalized. Bruce Bucari

The A-Section is completed. Congratulations to our new cochampions Will Atkinson and Frank Jackson. Preston Ladson came in third place, but there is no prize in the A Section for third place. Nov 29, 2017
  • The chess ladder has been updated for Monday's results.
  • Tournament updated from Will:
We have club co-champions for 2017. Congratulations to Will Atkinson and Frank Jackson. They split the 1st and 2nd place prizes and are declared co-champions.  Taking 3rd place is Preston Ladson.  As reported last week Tom Dostillo and Will Saxe shared the class prize.

The B Section prizes are not yet finalized as we are still stuck at a three  way tie between Pat Holland, Charles Murter, and Rich Herny who each have 5 points. If a few games are ever played it is possible for a lone winner, cowinners, or even one scenario with a four way tie. Unfortunately we will not  know the eventuial outcome until right before the banquet.

The banquet is on December 18 at 6:30pm at the Ichiban Seafood Buffet.  ONLY TWO MEETINGS REMAIN to try to get additional results for the B Section.

There were no changes to the B Section Tournament this week.  As it presently stands, there is a three way tie between Pat Holland, Rich Henry, and Charles Murter.  Each of these players has 5 wins.  It is highly desirable to complete this tournament before thee banquet on 12-18.  Ergo, games not played will result in a forfeit.  The players who will be losers by forfeit are Jackie Brown and Sean Duffy.  This will change things as detailed below.

Bill Killinger presently has three wins.  If we invoke forfeiture, he will end up with 5 wins which will make for a four-way tie.  However, fair is fair, invoking forfeiture will also give Rich Henry another win giving him 6 wins and first place in the B Section tournament.  The other three players will then have a three-way tie for second place and will divide the second and third place prizes.

I am hoping that Jackie and Sean will come this week.  That way, we can avoid deciding this tournament by forfeit.

  • Tournament update from Will Sax:
The annual tourrnaments are getting close to the end. The B Section currently has a three way tie. Pat Holland, Rich Henry, and Charles Murter all have 5 points. There was no change in the standings this week. The players who are not attending are making it difficult to determine a winner, or prize standings. Bruce Bucari the director of the B Section is not quite sure what is going to happen from here on.

In the A Section the Class prize is co-won by Tom Distillo and Will Saxe each with a score of 4 wins and 5 loses. Trying for the top spots are Preston Ladson 7.5 / 8.0, Frank Jackson 7.5 / 8.0, and Will Atkinson 7.0 / 8.0. Ladson alone or two co-champions are possibilities. Baring an unlikely playoff we should be done Monday 11/27/17.  Will Atkinson the director of the A Section thanks everyone for their co-operation in getting the games finished.

If you are in contact with any of the players who have not been coming, try to get them to come finish their tournament games. And remind everyone the
tournament is about over and we will go back to playing ladder or non-ladder game at out regular meetings.  Dates

Nov 6, 2017 - Club Tournament News

This coming Monday 11/13/17 is our first night for only make up games.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE NOT COMING!!!

Will Atkinson has a tentative schedule for make up games this week, trying to get the maximum number of games played. Will Saxe is finished!

This allows us to get in a maximum number of make up games. We have nine altogether and not much time to get them in.

The leaders in the A Section for 1st and 2nd  are Atkinson, Jackson and Ladson.

For the class prize Saxe is in the lead but Koehler and Distillo could catch up.

In the B Section Pat Holland and Charles Murter both have 5 and Rich Henry has 4 so they all look like they could win a prize.
